Could the patriots be in trouble, possibly lose money for a fine or something for not getting Thomas proper treatment?

Estranged Patriots LB Adalius Thomas says his forearm, broken in 2008, still bothers him because the team sent him to a massage therapist instead of a physical therapist.

Thomas marks that incident as the "hidden message" telling him he was no longer considered a core player. His situation was exacerbated last summer when he was told he was "not a good pass rusher" and that his role would be changing. Thomas plans on attending mandatory minicamp in June, but the Pats will likely release him before then to avoid the risk of a season-ending injury that would guarantee his contract.

That's pretty low down.

I'm hoping treating players like disposable objects will finally catch up with the Patriots. They're one of my least favorite teams.

So why didn't he go to a PT on his own or make some noise about it?

If this guy gets cut, I bet the Jets look at him.

Seems odd to me that the guy didn't just go to a PT himself and get the work needed then. If you know they've sent you the wrong kind of person then why wouldn't you, at the very least, seek out the right kind of help you need on your own?
