Browns GM Phil Savage said that Adrian Peterson's re-injured collarbone has not affected their opinion of him for this draft.

Yeah, they probably weren't going to take him either way. Peterson seems unlikely to fall out of the top 12 because of the injury, but he's a longshot to be a top-five pick now.

We can't climb that high. I also wouldn't be surprised if teams are advocating for this misinformation to lower his draft status and have them drop to them (aka Vikings, possibly Texans).

I absolutely do not want to trade our whole first day to get this guy. Running the football was not the problem last year. Yeah J.J. and Marion Barber might not be the best in the league, but they make a pretty good one, two punch. It would be stupid to do that move.

I heard that the Cowboys offensive lineman told Jerry they would be willing to chip in to pay for Peterson's salary. They said it would be a bargain, because the Monday morning chiropractor visits from Julius running into their backs all day is costing them a fortune.

I think at worst Arizona takes him. The only way he doesn't go 5th is if someone trades in that spot to get someone like a Brady Quinn or Gaines Adams that may still be there. But even if that somehow happens, he won't fall bellow the Vikings or Texans.

They are already paying Edgerin James 30 mil to run through holes that don't exist, why would they spend a top pick to do the same thing?

First off look at NOLA they are paying 2 backs tons of money it worked for them.

Also James averaged 3.4 ypc last year. That won't do it in the NFL.
