What a **** wad.

==============================================

An 8-year-old New York Jets fan was tackled by an adult Browns fan after Sunday's game, according to a television station in Cleveland.

The boy went to the game at Cleveland Browns Stadium in a Jets jersey with his father, who was born in New York. Much to the chagrin of the local crowd, the Jets rallied for a 26-20 overtime victory. The boy's mother, identified only as Danielle by ABC affiliate WEWS because she didn't want to reveal her last name, said the fans in the stadium were great, but things got out of control after the game.

"Calling him a bad word, to my husband and to my son, throwing food at them," she said, according to WEWS.

When the family reached the parking lot, the situation got uglier.

"As [my husband] was walking, holding my son's hand, a guy from behind tackled him. A drunken Browns fan tackled him and pulled him out of his dad's hand. He was on the ground crying," Danielle said, according to the station.

The boy was left with a scraped and bruised ankle. The mother said her husband didn't call police, opting instead to quickly get in the car and leave. When reached by the television station, Browns vice president of media relations Neal Gulkis called the situation unfortunate and disappointing and said the team is looking into the matter.

Complete Story

made me lose a lot of sympathy i had for the city after the lebron debacle, what a disgrace! and why didnt OTHER cleveland fans drop kick this guy? umbelievable! if i see a grown man, wearing a cowboys jersey, tackle an 8 year old with a giants jersey i would probably drop kick him!

It was probably the guy in the dog mask and he thought the kid was hot dog. ;)

That is messed up. The father should have stomped his ***.

That woulda been my response! I can take some **** talking, maybe even a face-to-face shouting match, but putting your hands on my kids is definitely crossing the line and my only recourse would be to issue a beatdown!!

The fact he did not beat the crap out of that guy is beyond me. You have to be some kind of pansy to let someone do something like that to your child.

Not only that, but the fact that other Browns fans didn't beat the hell out of him is beyond me.

what if the guy who tackled him outweighed him by 80 and was bigger?

he could have tried but then been beaten if he had

You can fight but no guarantee you win

??? If he is attacking my son, fights on.

What a piece of garbage.

And I agree the father, rather he could win or not, should have been ready to fight in that situation.

Someone simply isn't going to be laying hands, or tackling or whatever, my kid without a fight.

or you could, in your role as father/protector, resist the urge and get your child away from a bad situation that could easily turn worse.

the easy thing would be to try and beat the crap out of the guy, the smart thing might have been what he did

Consider the source. It's Canada!:lmao2: Canada never fights, they only size you up and go home to threatensyou with sanctions.

I would have given him my patented "brain-buster" move I learned from WWE RAW.

That move is devastating on concrete btw.

Bigger doesn't mean he's tougher plus he was drunk.

exactly.

The father did the right thing in getting his son out of there without further altercation. You morons that say fight do not know how many of the attacker's friends or fellow fans would have his back simply because of the teams they support. The father and son were grossly outnumbered in a hostile environment, there is no point in making it worse with retaliation.

Exactly. With me living in Ohio, I have heard the horror stories of Browns fans. They are right behind Philly fans as the worst.

Considering how nice the Browns fans were to us when we went for their summer scrimmage in Cowboys gear (HOF weekend), I'm shocked, to be completely honest.

I think someone else said it best - this guy had to be a Philly fan dressed in Browns garb.
