The big story today is "against this garbage...."?
Listen, I've been on board since 1966. Got the STAR tattooed on my leg.
My deal with the Cowboys is like family.............I can talk stink but nobody else can.
I've held back the last decade, don't want to buy into something just to get let down. Parcells first year, I got excited.............the we laid a couple eggs.
This year, I went "all in". This was IT, and nobody in the organization told us to "settle down", "relax", "not so fast".
Now this. Given all the hype, the state of the game with free agency/salary cap/one and done, THIS is the year I personally and officially let loose like it was 1993.
And THIS was THE GAME we had to win. This was the biggest game the last 10 years given all the hype, money spent, expectations. You HAVE to win these games...............especially against WHO, and WHERE, the T.O. thing, the hype..............
And, to add insult, this Eagle team is average at best. They're a big fat NOBODY really. They're gonna' play out to be the typical Eagle team of failures, always losing the last game of every season. This game was to seperate us out as the real deal, and now we're just a "middle of the pack" squad" having to claw and stuggle just to get into the playoffs.
And I'm really pissed............................

Meh, if McBriar doesn't fumble that punt we don't lose, or if it wasn't in Philly we don't lose.

We just had a few mistakes here and there add up to really hurt us. As other fans have said, Philly had to play perfect to win this, we played like crap and nearly came out with the victory.

I just don't want to make a habit of it like last year.

welcome to regurgitation central... er um...

just welcome. I guess....

So, this is where you're hiding? Guess you won't be posting at Igglephans anytime soon.

Yeah, The girls at "igglphans" banned me, AGAIN for the third time in three years.
Listen, I can talk stink about MY BOY's 'round here, but if you let loose with your "no ring" garbage, the wrath of Lewpac will be unhinged.
*** E-girl women can't take a little heat. Never seen a bigger bunch of unshaven, beer-swiggin, bbq-sauce-on-the-shirt, farting bunch of human debri in all my life.
Again, and Clearly, and Loudly, and Abundantly, and Pointedly, and Directly...................GET A RING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm with ya. After most games I get more mellow the longer I'v had time to think. But after this game, I'm getting more upset as the night goes on. I'm so sick of watching Bledsoe stand in the pocket and duck into a sack i could puck. I'm sick of watching the safeties giving up long TD passes. And I'm getting tired of Parcells getting pissed, if someone asks him a tough question. Parcells needs to put in Romo. He told us he is ready. We haven't drafted or brought in any Qbs because of his judgment. So let go, let's see what he's got. What have we been grooming for 3 years?

Beast feels your pain. This one really hurt, more sickening than the loss to the skins on MNF last year. Getting beat by a bunch of no-name receivers and Bledslow just tossing the ball up for grabs or holding the ball for like 8 freaking seconds against the blitz is making me feel physically sick.

Time for Romo, Bledslow is not going to get any better and melts down on the road against good teams....see philly and Jax.:bang2:

A part of me is hesitant to overreact four weeks into the season. But, I do agree this was a "statement" game.

Granted, perception means nothing in the grand scheme. But this is a game that, if we won, catapults us into the upper-echelon of teams in the NFC -- in terms of record and reputation.

But, as you said, we're now stuck in the middle of the pack with the Commanders, Giants and every other .500 team.

Despite all the mistakes, I was pleased how we hung in there. It was a weird game and we found a way to always fight back. But the loss -- like every loss --stings.

What stinks is that we're still a game away from being a sub-.500 team. It would have been nice to create a little distance and to begin looking like a legitimate contender.
