With the new mini jumbotron and the ribbon board the aggie band and cheerleaders don't know when they can play or cheer. The advertisements on the ribbon boards were actually distracting the players. "Crass commercialism and unsportsmanlike distractions". I'm told all this crap was sucking the life out of the crowd. I wonder if the man sized jumbotron in Austin will have the same affect in a night game.

I have an idea... How about when there is a break in the action

I was at the UT game last weekend, and the advertisements were awkward, mainly because they were so loud. But I don't think the cheerleaders or the band had problems coordinating with the ads.
