This is a game that Romo can make a big name for himself around the league. He has played very good in his 1st 3 starts and now he will share the limelight with Manning.

I don't profess to understand how the QB ratings work, and I'm happy Romo is doing so well...

... but how in the hell is he higher rated than Rivers???

Rivers has a higher completion %, and fewer INTs with twice as many attempts. Romo does have more yards per attempt, and more TD's per attempt, which I guess mean more to the ratings.

In any event, it's nice to see a Cowboys QB up there so high!

Romo has the league's highest YPA and his TD percentage is better than everyone as well. That's prolly where it's coming from.

I think Romo's is graded with a curve because of all of Owens' drops.

I do know that yards per pass plays a big role in the final score. Tony's is 8.78, which is higher than anyone else on that list by almost a full yard. Manning is 7.90 and Rivers is 7.61.

Look at it this way.

If Romo had as many attempts as PManning, Romo would have 20 TD's already!

As a starter in 3 games he has 5 TD passes and 1 int and hitting about 67% of his passes I'll take that any day of the week. I had some doubts about Romo and his play ground ways but he has impressed me big time and is playing as well as any of the top QB's in this league.

According to NFL.com Indy is number 2 and Dallas is 9 when it comes to pass defense.
Dallas is 4 and Indy is dead last when it comes to rush defense.

We should give JJ and Barber 20 carries each.

In relative terms - meaning if you adjust for number of games played - Romo is neck-and-neck with P.Manning for most categories but one. That is in the INT department where Romo has 4 to Manning's 3. That's a hige difference since Romo has only 3 starts, which is why Parcells made such a big deal in ote post-game show about Romo's INT-that-never-was near the end of the first half in Arizona. Maybe the Cardinals aren't stute enough to capitolize on a mistake like that, but you better believe Indi surely will. That's why the key to winning the Indy game - besides having continued success from MBIII's running and limited penalties from the team as a whole - is for Romo to be patient, less impulsive, control the tempo and throw 0 INTs.

Yeah...but don't forget, he had 3 of those against the Giants when he was tossed into the middle of that mess after halftime.

I'm not saying those INT's don' count. But I do factor the circumstances in when I consider his numbers.

We are going to pound the ball next week. The Colts are terrible against the run and I guarantee you that Parcells doesn't want to get in to a shootout with them.
