Nothing will ever surpass the KC-135 Stratotanker.

Those old birds have done their time, now it is time for them to be put to rest.

All I can say is.......

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reports are of this creating 7200 high paying jobs here in Kansas. Not exactly sure how much this work I will personally see, but this is good for business either way.

Everyone around here just wants there to be no appeal by EADS.

I still see some old tooling from that tanker from time to time around the building I work.

Yep, those 707's still look great after all these years. Still do a great job too.

The 767's should do a great job too.

They can't successfully contest the decision because we beat their proposal by more than 1%.

EADS will be waisting their time and money...It is a done deal.

When I was there during the first RFPs, we staffed up to about 3500. This is good news for Boeing and the US.
