I have a second generation set of AirPods, but I keep forgetting to take them to the gym so I’m going to purchase another set and keep them in my car. I’m having to decide between the AirPods Pro and the third generation. I’m leaning toward the AirPods Pro because of the noise cancellation. Has anyone purchased these and what do you think? Did anyone decide on the third generation AirPods and why?

Never tried AirPods. I like my Raycons though.

I love my pro's. I do all my yard work in mine. A nice low hum of a back pack blower is worth every penny of the up charge.

Love them, noise cancellation is pretty impressive too. Like most Apple products ease of use is second to none. Want to say I got mine from AMZN for about $116 maybe 4 months ago, I think Costco now has them for around the same.

AirPods Pro 2 hands down. I had the original AirPods and AirPods Pro. But the Pro 2 is just amazing.

I bought the second generation AirPod Pros and I was not really impressed with them.

They were not bad, but the noise cancellation was not great and because they use the microphone for noise cancellation, I could hear myself breathing while sitting still.

Even with the smallest plug on the end of them they made my ears hurt after 1-2 hours so I went back to my full size Sony XM3s.

I will probably buy another pair in the future but I will probably go with the regular AirPods next time assuming Apple still makes them.

I’m reading where the newest AirPods Pro are much better for noise cancellation. It all comes down a personal preference and opinion. I just wish they made one set to make purchasing them less complicated.

I have the AirPods Pro 2nd generation ear buds, and they are OK, but they get real uncomfortable in the ears after an hour or so. The noise cancellation is good, but I purchased a pair of Sony WF-1000XM4 ear buds, and I prefer them much more. Better battery life, better noise cancellation, and more comfortable.

That's the ones I have and I said basically the same thing :D

I went back to my over-the-ear Sony XM3's so I may have to try the Sony XM ear buds next time I buy some especially if they are more comfortable.

I have the over the ear XM3s and they are very good. I bought a pair of XM4s for use on the treadmill, even going flat out the noise canceling was very good and i have no problem watching TV during the run.

Do you use them with IPhones? If not, Galaxy Buds Pro are very good.

I’m getting the newest version that keeps the original shape. I remember looking at this about a week ago. Went in looking like I wanted some pros but came out with the second gen AirPods our whatever they called em. They were the midrange and I get to wait for Santa to bring em to me. Still gotta blow the 3 yr olds mind on Xmas morning.
