Al Davis likes his new coach "Lance"

Raiders name game: Raiders boss Al Davis was pretty strong in support of his hiring of USC offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin even though he called him Lance a few times. Davis said he is a great, young play-caller and that's what the Raiders were seeking. They want an offensive coach who will attack. Davis believes you have to have offense to win in the NFL. The Raiders scored only 12 touchdowns in 16 games, which is a big reason why they were 2-14.
