Al Davis reportedly regrets some of his big-spending this offseason, according to Yahoo! Sports.

The Raiders, of course, call this "rumor mongering," which usually means it's true. But after blowing a huge amount of money on Javon Walker, Tommy Kelly, Gibril Wilson, and DeAngelo Hall, the Raiders are under a lot of pressure to win this season. If they struggle, perhaps Davis will consider giving up some decision-making power.

Ya think? The guy spent $250 MILLION. Is he nuts? Does he know his stadium only seats 63,000? Does he know they don't sell out every game.

I think it's Davis' last hoorah unless somehow he's see a way out because of the CBA. Sure glad we got Stephen Jones around to help keep Jerry in check as he gets older. I really like Jerry and sure would hate to see him become as addle brained as Davis seems to be in his declining years.

No way does al davis ever admit a mistake. While it may or may not be true, no reporter has this info.

No idea, Gryphon is only good for posting rumor threads or so it seems.

For Davis to give up power, someone gotta sneak into his crypt and bury a stake in his heart . . .
