Good stuff. Like the insight on Stephen Jones/DQ. First I’m hearing that Stephen is the one trying to get DQ promoted. Like the Jerry past practice with Parcells and Belichick. I agree that it was odd that Belichick started flowering Dallas and Jerry. I remember that PC too. Slightly uncharacteristic of him.

Belichick.. it’s the only one that connects all the dots IF Jerry/Stephen remain the GMs. When we become a normal team again, maybe we can have some success with these young untested prospects like the rest of the league is succeeding with. Sounds like Stephen is getting in the way and starting to flex his next GM muscle. Secret coup with DQ and Stephen. LOL

Stephen ….. poster child of nepotism. Quick thought experiment…… Jerry sells the team and the new owner fires Stephen. Does anyone hire him?

I'm starting to think more and more this is gonna happen. Dallas already has crazy ratings, and this will only put Dallas in the spotlight more

I'd be interested to know what the staff would look like

But why do the Cowboys make sense for Belichick? If he still wants to coach he'll have options.

I'm trying to picture BB in the war room asking Jerry who he thinks they should take in the 3rd round. I can't see it.

I honestly see this marriage working out.

Belichick has two goals right now, catch Shula and win a SB without Brady. And at 72 years old, he doesn't have time to rebuild a roster to do those. He's only going to coach for a turn-key contender.

Jerry doesn't have much time left, and I think he knows it. Reconciling with Jimmy now, after 25 years of arrogantly ignoring him? I think Jerry realizes it's time to leave nothing left unsaid.

Jerry wants to win now. Bill wants to win now. Both men are short on time. Jerry and co have built a roster that's ready to go.

This would be a short term deal, but it could give both of them what they want most.
