I think Mcneil is an underrated prospect. IMO he’s worth us picking in the 2nd round. He’s not the sexy pick and you could probably get a few other players at a later spot. This kid is going to be a very good player. He offers something that we just don’t have and desperately need in the middle of our DL.

He has alot of fans here, me included. I think he is as 2nd rounder

I like McNeil but I'd wanna see who else is actually available at our pick in the second round. While this year's draft doesn't feature a sure-fire bluechip DT prospect, I do think it's very deep in talent at the position. Guys like Nixon, Onwuzurike, and Tufele (to name a few) could also be in play 3rd round.

One of my favorite prospects in the draft. One of the few DTs that can actually play the run and pass.

Reminds me a bit of Jarran Reid as a prospect.

Perfect fit, but I wonder where his draft slot with ultimately be. Several sites have him in our 2nd pick range, but see other big boards around pick 100. Many compare him to Justin Hargrove who was originally drafted by the Steelers in the 3rd rd.

Ditto. Everyone wants a safety in the second, but McNeil is my fav for that spot

Right now I think his tape says 3rd, but raw ability will probably push him into the 2nd. His rush plan right now is basically being strong and quick. Though once he develops moves and counters, he is a guy that can open floodgates on the interior

Just an FYI - McNeil did an interview with TDN and said he played this year around 340 and is down to 325. So, he was BALLIN' OUT overweight.....I'm taking this guy @ 44.

I like McNeill and he reminds me of Neville Gallimore. Gallimore played at 330 in 2018 and trimmed down to 305 for his senior year. Both are considered great first step guys for their size and they had similar #s over their careers. Gallimore 18 TFL and 9 sacks while McNeill had 17.5 TFL and 10 sacks. I'm not a fan of this DT class at all and I'm not reaching for one. Big guys who can move like McNeill and Bobby Brown around that 3rd round comp pick or early 4th are the types I'm targeting.
