On June 1 the Amazon Prime series All or Nothing will take an inside look at the greatest team in the history of sports. They have ruled the world of rugby basically since their tour of the northern hemisphere in 1905. They are the ultimate David vs Goliath story - their entire country has half the population of the state of New Jersey and yet they have historically won 77% of their international test matches over the last 115 years or so. These guys carry the weight of their nation, and they give up so much to don the black jersey - virtually any one of the ABs could go to France or England and play professional rugby for at least twice what they make staying in NZ. But the All Blacks won't select anyone playing overseas, so they stay because wearing the black and doing the haka is the dream that they have chased since childhood. For every player on that team representing their country is more important than financial gain. And on top of that they play the most aggressive and attacking style of rugby on the planet. As far as I'm concerned this series will be must see tv.

I'll take the Yankees teams with Ruth and company before a rugby team.

1927 – Murderers’ Row

A high-powered Yankee offense led by legendary Babe Ruth, laid the foundation for what we know today as the New York Yankees. The team’s winning mentality, finishing with a 110-44 record including postseason, fueled what is known as one of the greatest Major League Baseball teams to ever take the field. The Yankees’ offense left its mark on history by creating a signature lineup, referred to as “Murderers’ Row”. New York went on to win their fifth American League Pennant, as well as a World Series championship.
