All the face mask penalties..***?!

I lost count on how many were called, plus there were two obvious ones that didn't get called. None of these were the grab and let go variety either. I can see it happening once a ball game, but 4 or 5 times?

In all fairness to our guys, specifically Pat Watkins, how 'bout calling the new "no stiff arms to the face mask / Marion Barber rule" on Westbrook. He blatantly stiff armed Watkins to the mask, and had his hand on Ratliffs mask as well. So much for that rule!!!!:starspin

The penalties are THE problem with this team IMO. I wish Wade would admit it and call the players on it. It makes the team look undisciplined.....and I think the lack of discipline might just be true.

The penalties are going to be a big issue down the line. We saw this last year and we are seeing it again this year.

I'm scared to see another great year go down the drain because of penalties.

dude we did it atleast 5 or 6 times. wade and co did not have this defense prepared at all for the eagles O.

I am just saying, on one of those plays I really think the facemask prevented a score. You can call that whatever you want to, but I am not sure how stupid it is.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't these the same guys (The coaches and defensive players) who went in at Halftime, got their crap together, and held the Eagles to only 1 score in the second half? And that score came after our special teams unit had allowed the Eagles to start at our 45.

Yes we've got issues. Yes we've got mistakes to fix. But for the love of all things good just enjoy it for a moment. It was a crazy win against a really good team.

This defense is NEVER going to be the 2000 Ravens or the 1985 Bears. They're just not going to be that, ever. If you're hoping for that, or anything close to that, then you're hoping for something you're never going to get.
