Unfortunately, the rebuild begins. It looks like we will pick top ten in the NFL draft next year. I feel we left at least one, maybe two Super Bowl victories on the table due to egos. When Mr. Jones made the comments many years ago, "I can hire any one of one hundred coaches to win Super Bowl's with this Cowboys organization" (I'm paraphrasing) I guarantee you Jimmy Johnson would have one one, maybe two more Super Bowl's. If I recall correctly, all this misery over a champagne toast with team coaches and personnel at winter meetings in Florida. I know the salary cap causes many challenges while running an NFL franchise. In hindsight, we've made poor decisions regarding the salary cap lately. This will set us back a few years to correct. Hang on fellow Cowboy fans, we're in total rebuild mode going forward. I'm really disappointed, as are all of Cowboy Nation.
