Talked to a buddy of mine about Amari Cooper. He has watched him in college and here in the pros a lot. Says he has some of the worst hands he has ever seen. Dropping bombs and easy passes all the time. Did the research and he is correct. In fact he leads the NFL the last few years in drop percentage at 8.4%. Even worse then Dez that is right behind him. I also found this troubling article.

Let's give the guy a chance first before we start calling him Dez Bryant.
 
When Philly got a better receiver for a 3rd it made this trade that much worse. And everyone saying the age difference matters so much needs to realize we didn’t make this trade for the 2024 Cowboys. It was made to make us better for the next 2-3 seasons. Tate would have been the better option.

I've stayed away from Cooper on all my fantasy football teams for a couple years. I had Crabtree and would watch the Raider games and I always thought Cooper sucks!

Why would this trade be made to improve for the next 2-3 seasons? That doesn't make sense. He's a free agent after 2019.

You may not like it but this trade was made for the next 7-8 seasons.

Yep. HE is better than what we have, but to pay a first round pick and then pay this guy 16 million is completely horrifying.
