This is funny as ****. One of the regular customers at my restaurant has a Ukrainian wife. Unbelievably smoking hot. Body of a bikini model, and she's stunningly beautiful. His last wife was from there as well.

He marries one, keeps her for two years or whatever the required term is for them to become a US citizen, divorces them, and gets another. He's not exactly wealthy either. The women he marries though, I can't even put it to words. The current one is one of the five most attractive women I've ever met, and I've met more than a few top flight models when I was still heavy into glamour photography.

Ukrainians are quite different from ethnic Russians from what I've heard from folks who've travelled there. Lots happier. Certainly if the Ukrainian wedding I went to in Canada was any barometer, they'd be pretty dang fun!

I think this may also be a comment on Russian men.

Once read this interview with two Aussie gals who were talking about how they really liked American men better than their Australian counterparts. They said that Americans were much nicer, more sensitive, etc. Asked how they'd gotten that impression, they recounted that they'd dated these two wonderful American guys -- both Navy Fighter Pilots! Now, if those guys looked the sensitive types....
