I saw a show that was talking about the Japanese version and I guess there's only 1 guy who has done it and it took him like 8 tries.

To me, that's what makes a show like that fun. Set the bar REALLY high (Pun intended) and then when someone wins, you'll know it's a real accomplishment.

There is no American version the final contest is the same one that the Japanese guys are doing. All GT4 does is sponsor 10 guys and have a competition and a boot camp and usually the final show covers just how the Americans do if you watch the full version(the one from Japan TV) then you see everyone
