He didn't say he was wide open. He said he had space to work with. Even pointed out the LB was covering him.
No space to work with if a LB is on your RB. Plus, all of the receivers were well covered. The only one who had a chance for a catch was Gallup whom Dak correctly threw to, yet Gallup hardly had any separation. Story of this receiving crew throughout most of this season.

No space except all that space. I see you're still kneejerking.

But wait a minute, how did Dak see the stop routes were being covered and to let Amari know to run the go route? It couldn't be because Dak can't read a defense. I have been assured that is the case for a ling time now.
He read th 49ers D really good didn't he. Like the int right before half when they were moving the ball. Or I am sure everyone just forgets the almost pic 6 on what was the real last drive of the game on the first play. Read them real good.

So you're saying Dak rethought it through and took his receivers advice while making the right playcall change which worked?

You mean the play where Kurt Warner said CeeDee ran a sloppy route and should have ran past the LB, then cut back the way he came into a created hole, instead of cutting his route short and running back into coverage?
