Rumors swirl about Pelini to Miami

A report Thursday says Miami is interested in current Nebraska coach Bo Pelini to be its next head football coach. Nebraska, though, is denying that report.
Welcome to St. George!
Dixie Gridiron Classic will be played annually on New Year's Day
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dixie Gridiron Classic will be played annually on New Year's Day, unless New Years falls on a Sunday, then the game would be played on Saturday December 31.
Playing the game on a national holiday not only separates the Dixie Gridiron Classic from other all-star games, but will also build game awareness and an all-star game tradition by making it easier to remember each calendar year. President Darry Alton stated, " I look at this opportunity to play the Dixie Gridiron Classic on New Years Day as a plus. There is no school and most people are off work for the day, so not only do we have the opportunity to bring in the new year, we can also hope the spectator turnout will grow throughout the years. We are excited to be playing on a very traditional football bowl date. The Senior Bowl, East-West Shrine Game, Texas vs. The Nation are played when? All-Star games in general have an awareness problem as to when they are played. It is my intention that the Dixie Gridiron Classic will always be played on New Year's Day, making it easy to remember."
