Another year, another embarrassment

There will be those faithful who remain optimistic in this current group of Cowboys, but I won’t be able to do this again.

I started having hope again after last week, I did.

But today was yet another reminder that Dak Prescott and this current cast of characters is not able to compete against true championship-caliber competition. Dak is too bipolar to lead us to a Super Bowl.

The defense played phenomenal today, and Dak still couldn’t take advantage. There’s nothing more this organization can do to win as long as Dak is the nucleus. They can’t cover his weaknesses enough. It’s been proven.

This was my final run with this crew. They blew it, again.

It was a fun year. I hoped it would end differently.

I’ll still be here next season watching every game, but my hope for success is permanently shot until Dak and others (Zeke, Diggs, etc) are off of this team.

Man, another heartbreaker.

I'm out. spent my whole life w this team since Landry. No more. I'll be dead before they have success again thanks to the Jones boys. I no longer care about this historic franchise sullied by the name Jones.

No surprise, unfortunately.

At least the season was reasonably entertaining.

That‘s really the best we can hope for.

I'm with you. I'm going to casually watch the games with low expectations. I wasn't super hyped for tonight's game anyways.

Not the time. I wish I was allowed to say what I really want to right now.

If you’re happy with consolation prizes and saying “it was a good year” after that, you’re a joke.

I surprised that anyone here is surprised by this outcome. I’ll sleep like a baby tonight because many of us have recognized that this team is wildly inconsistent and that they stood pat during free agency except for the mammoth signings of Hankins and TY off his couch

the Niners kept adding players even though they were already stacked as did the Eagles

if not for Quinn’s defense, we would have lost by more….the defense only let up 113 rushing yards and under 200 passing yards……hard to overcome our Star Qb throwing 2 picks and scoring only 1 TD

I’d be curious to see if this roster could add a good RB to pair with Pollard, and do a straight up trade — Dak for Derek Carr — how this team might look.

But I agree. If Dak is the QB, we aren’t winning a Super Bowl. Ever. Not even as the #1 seed with one less game to play

Our defense didn't get it done in the 2nd half. We lost Tony Pollard early in the game. He's a huge part of our game.
Dak failed us. Flat out.
Besides Lamb, what other WR stepped up? Nobody. I forgot Gallup was even on our team today.
Diggs failed us big time too.
We needed our big stars to step up but we really needed our role players to also step up too and they didn't.
Look, SF is a really good team. They make good players look bad.

I wouldn't call it an embarrassment. We lost a close game to a team favored to beat us. Heart breaking yes, embarrassing no

I am not going to call the game an embarrassment. Two of the Cowboys most heralded players choked and could have had a major impact on the game. They are stuck with the QB, but can certainly trade the DB.

Where's all the Dakota "WENTZ 2.0" Prescot lovers?????????? Once again he dumped down BOTH legs with his lousy play. Olsen pointed out numerous times that Prescot wasn't reading the field correctly. Once again Prescot played in a game where he couldn't handle the pressure of a big game.

In all seriousness, expected trash talk aside, your Cowboys had a good run, and played a tough game tonight. The defense was lights out until Dak started making mistakes and short drives go the defense gassed at the end. Your QB is way too streaky to be a championship caliber QB, I know I would take Jimmy G over him.. anyday. See you in the regular season next year.
