Know he suffered a season ending injury last year and is now a free agent.

Probably doesn't have much of a market.

If we could bring him back in a 1 year deal worth $2 million ($3 million with incentives), I'd be all over that.

He was our CB2 for most of last year and did a solid job.

We'd be set a CB and have insane depth.

I’m just putting Brown out of my mind. It is very difficult for any position to come back from an Achilles… much less a CB. He likely is done.

He will be a bonus if he is able to return but I’m certainly not counting on it, and I’m glad Dallas isn’t counting on it either.

Wouldn’t say Brown was solid last season he struggled with some deep balls. However, he was better than his replacements. It’s not going to be easy coming back from an Achilles. With the addition of Gilmore, he’s now a back up. No assurances he even makes the team next season.

Brown is a free agent and Dallas has decided to not re-sign him.

I seen about 2 to 3 weeks ago he started some on the field running. That was about it.
With Gilmore coming in, I don't see them bringing him back at this point.

However depending what they decide to do with Joesph and Wright, and with Lewis and his recovery, don't be surprised once cleared he returns during TC, if needed.

Haven’t heard anything on Brown but not surprised.

From what I’ve heard the only outstanding contract offer is to Fowler. B-Wagz and OBJ have not been extended proposals, nor have Dallas’ remaining UFA.

AB would be more appealing next offseason because his injury will have had more time to heal, and the Cowboys could be short on quality CBs at the time.

If Anthony Brown doesn't come back that leaves Dak as the last man standing from that 2016 draft class.

thinking Jlew and brown are gone.. rather go young we got bland, digs and Gilmore this year then hopefully as the year progress a cb on the team or this draft can learn and be the starting outside guy next year and we can afford to pay Diggs when he holds out lOL

as you will find is the case on many teams , not many players get 2nd contracts or stay that long. we turned this team over more then 70% since 16. coaches and payers even since 2020 many are gone. the we like our guy theory is not a true narrative...

Achilles take 11months to heal. That puts him startling conditioning somewhere around the end of November. It almost always takes until the following year to fully recover and many don’t, considering he’s 30 I’d put him in the unlikely to ever get there. You’d basically be signing him, hoping he could recover and sign with you again in 2024. If you listened to the interview with Jerry after the injury it was fairly obvious his career was essentially over.

Everyone knows it takes two years for the leg to reattach itself to the body. He’ll be on anti rejection medication the rest of his life.
