Anybody else think that TO signing was known long before?

Back in the day he had an Irvin jersey on after a game. The website was already fully Dallas oriented hours after he signed. The jerseys on his site were added the day before he was signed. "This product was added to our catalog on Friday 17 March, 2006." The more things add up that both sides knew about this long before anything happened.

They were hesitant to say if most of the talking was over the phone or not at the PC and had to look at each other basically on what to say.

We tampered. I think Irvin planted the bug.....IMO, I think actual contract talks started back around the time that the Eagles started complaining about tampering.

Dang thats some great detective work ............... Do you think OJ was guilty?

just kidding ..... but that was the worse kept secret ever.;)

Well I look at it this way....he signed on Saturday and the rap song was out by Sunday.....it takes some time to record and put out a song...ESP a song that mentions his 10 mil salary for this year. Me thinks this deal was gone a while ago.

Those were just a few things that made me think this. I think the rap song was probably something that he could have written the lyrics for quickly, but had the song done awhile back. That also seems fishy like he has known for quite some time.

Right, and you're looking atleast a couple of days for production of the song alone. But lets not forget, there were two songs! Both Cowboy oriented, and really not songs with what I could see as "transferabble" lyrics for teams, they seemed pretty cowboy specific. Hell it probably took a day in the studio just to do TO's specific small part in the song.

Then his website, which you'd have to think was in the works for awhile now, though he could've very well had one for every interested team made up by his people i guess.

Though I think most of us non-cynics felt this deal was done for quite some time now anyway as it was. So is this all surprising? No. Now to the people who swore on their own mother's graves that it would never happen in a million years Owens being a Cowboy, it's a big whoa-whoa what the hell happen and a rush to the cemetary to beg forgiveness to their late-ones--not to mention a convienant place to hide their humbled faces.

TO and Rosehaus were given permission a while back to speak to other teams in order to try and work out a trade, how is that tampering? You can reskin a website and put merchandise up in less than a week, its not too diffucult.

It is standard practice to get deals done before they are legal... every team does it...

When one gets a little miffed they report it, but it happens frequently...

I have no idea on contract signing and stuff like that...

I do believe that when the problems started in Philly that Jerry saw an "IN" to get TO....

I think Jerry knew he was a getting a "TO" to go with his "Tuna" along time ago... who was gonna stop him??
