Anybody remember this from last year...

What's so funny about is, every year, there team is so much better than ours, adn yet we just keep on beating them,

question: is that the same "boozeman" who used to be a frequent poster at the Cowboys Zone?

Brunell's accuracy, efficiency and leadership gives the Commanders a nice edge at this spot unless Testaverde reverts to the form he showed 4 years ago.

Boy, they really thought Brunell was going to be a force last year, didn't they? I'm so glad the Cowboys didn't force a trade and a cap-hitting contract for Brunell like the Skins did. There were a lot of us who wanted it to happen. It's one of those decisions that makes ya shut up and trust in Bill.

actaully if BP would have signed him, BP would have pulled Burnell cause he sucked so bad and we would have played henson, and a higher pick in the draft and drafted Mike Williams instead of Ware, and got spears at 20:D:D, it's all BP fault

Yes sir, with one clarification. He posted on thecowboys.net, not here on the Zone.

No trick a lot of us wanted Bill to sign Burnell when he hit the open market and for a small contract. Most of the posters here never dreamed that anyone would fork over a draft pick and a big bonus for him. I was a big fan of getting Burnell but; not at a cost of a draft pick and big bucks.

Giving a 3rd and a lot of money for a vet that had lots of question marks about did not make sense from any reasonable fan. I wanted Burnell for a 2 or 3 year vinny type contract one with a small base and one that required us to make the playoffs to get any real cash
