Anyone else starting to feel confident that Prince will NOT be the pick?

With about 90% of mocks from "the experts" putting Prince to us at 9, I'm starting to feel confident that this will definitely NOT end up happening....and it makes me happy.
I get the impression that our first priority will be see to see how far Peterson lasts....if he makes it to 6, I expect to see a trade up with Cleveland. After that, I think we will consider Dareus and/or Jordan if available vs a trade down. I'm starting to think that these will end up being our strategy and I think we'll probably end up accepting a trade back for a little less than market value. We just flat out need more picks, esp in the first three rounds.
ALSO, since JJ is a little strapped, trading back will save him a fair amount of money depending on how many extra picks/players we end up with from it.

Anyway, that's how i'm seeing it now....although I could be a little clouded by what I WANT to see.
But hard to remember any experts correctly mocking even the top 10 picks and esp picks 6-10. They are usually consistently, exactly...wrong.

Its wishful thinking on my part....i get sense Dallas likes him alot.

I think trading back would be silly. All the top talent will not be gone by #9.

Only on this forum do people like to imagine that there will be no one worthy of #9 overall in this draft.

Prince wont be the pick if he's there and Peterson will be gone. It'll be the best D Lineman available.

you mean best OT don't you ? :lmao2:

Who says jj is strapped? Oh yeah, it was some unsubstantial rumor based on the fact that we didn't sign atogwe, started by some yahoo who has no clue how much money jj has. Anyways, id actually be happy with prince.

Why does anyone think we will first wait to see what happens with Peterson? Is there something out there to suggest that he is the guy we want? I do know of one quote that shows Jerry saying that he is happy with where we are at CB. We have 2 first rounders making first rounder $$. It would surprise me if he thinks we need to sink more heavy $$ in CB.

I'll bet my rapsberry beret that we don't draft him.

I don't think you should do this. Trading in your rapsberry beret seems a bit extreme to me.

;)

sure as hell hope not. I dont want this years draft to include that "sexy" pick.
I want OL and DL please, maybe a FS in round 4/5.
Happy with an OT or Cam Jordan in round 1.

Amukamara is far from sexy, everyone around here seems convinced he's a bust waiting to happen.

Wasn't even aware that so many "experts" thought we'd draft him in the first place. I never thought we would, though of course it could always happen.

Could he be ... the most beautiful draft pick in the world?

Such a better pick at 9. Check the block at 4:11

Definitely a guy who wont get in way of rushers. And with his vision/athleticism he can pick up blocks on the next level pretty easily. Would mesh well if theyre working those draws back in
