Anyone have the terrible habit of cigar smoking?

The Fuente Hemingway Short Story is my go to.

Montecristo No 2 is an all time favorite.

Cohiba Siglo VI when I'm celebrating (hoping to bust one out for a Cowboys Super Bowl this year)

Nice... or a Cohiba Black Supremo Maduro Toro... :)

I used to enjoy one now and then. When I quit smoking cigarettes (1999), and my body adjusted to where I didn't crave nicotine anymore, I got to a point where smelling cigarette/cigar/pipe smoke makes me wretch. But back then I used to travel to Central America every year to fish. We were able to get Cuban cigars at reasonable prices... enjoyable memory, but not one I miss.

Plain ole Portofino Macanudos.

Far to many in a week. :(

How is the draw on these?

Good, even draw... occasionally one may be a bit tight but that can happen with any stick...

why does it have to be a terrible habit?

Because its not healthy at all for you.

I guess if you only do it once in awhile it's fine, but not consistently.

There is a cigar bar a few miles from my house. Cool little place from what I understand and they all seem to enjoy themselves out on the deck, but I personally could never get into it.

There is a difference between cigar/pipe smoking as opposed to cigarettes...

Cigar/pipe is all about flavor and experience... you are NEVER supposed to inhale cigar/pipe smoke in to your lungs like you do with cigarettes...

That is why certain cigars are paired with certain spirits... it's about flavor and experience...

You draw the essence of a cigar into your palette and offset it with complimentary spirits... you DO NOT inhale...

It's an experience... not a habit...
