Anyone here in a Motorcycle Club?

Are any of you guys in or know someone in a legit MC? I just finished watching Sons of Anarchy and while I have no interest in motorcycles at all, I was curious about how real MCs recruit people and how much of MC culture they got right. I found the Scorpions have a Dallas chapter, but no contact information or anything.

Is it one of those things where you have to know a member, like the Masons?

It seems motorcycles aren't much of a thing anymore, back in the 00's every weekend I'd see tons of people riding, now it's rare...my neighbor and a group of his buddies used to ride every Saturday back then, they all sold their bikes years ago

I've known some HAs, and I can't speak for all MCs, but with them it seems pretty similar to SoA, as far as joining the club and spending time as a prospect.

I ride independent. I don't want anything to do with clubs.

I wanted to be in a motorcycle club but there was too much fighting and meth shenanigans. They are never people with whom you want to be seen. Mechanics, too.

No, always found the lifestyle interesting{at least part of it} though. Been in 2 motorcycle accidents in my life and figure it was Gods way of telling me something.
