The only thing Vegas loves is making money.

If anything they hate the Pats, because they've been killing them all year. A lot of people I know have been betting on the Pats to cover every week, because it's been automatic money (I've did it four weeks). It looks like Vegas finally got sick of it and raised the spread to an outrageous number this week in an attempt to get some people on the other side of the ledger. Regardless, I bet most people still bet on the Pats to cover, and they probably will.
