April 15 Draft with Trade up

So. I have succombed to the pressure and did a mock with Pitts as our first pick. However. I then traded back up into the first and grabbed Surtain II.

Let me know what y'all think about this and how you would feel if we pulled this off.

I was more perplexed by the trade. We got the 17th pick for a 2022 Rd 2 pick, a round 3 comp pick and a couple of late round picks?

I didnt write the software. I am just literally showing its possible to get back into the first and still fix the defense if we draft Pitts. Is it a good idea? No. I am just trying to see if its possible.

First, I can’t believe the Raiders took that deal! I think Gruden and Mayock would get fired that night for making it. But good for you nonetheless. I’d take that all day.

No doubt. You take what the simulator gives you. I never blame the person for that.

Not enough linebackers for me. But I do like the potential in Williams at safety and Twyman as a potential 3-tech pass rusher. If the moves panned out we’re in good shape.

I loved the idea of still getting Surtain. Getting Pitts, and also shoring up the Middle with Bolton and Shelvin. Our run D gets immediately better.

It would be an absolute coup if we somehow pulled off a draft like that. The rest is gravy really. Overall, I’d take this draft all day long.

Honestly. I would have no issue if we got Pitts and sent a first or second next year to get back into the first for Horn or Surtain or even Barmore.

Same here. You accomplished somehow getting BOTH of this team’s top targets. That’s dream scenario stuff right there. And I agree. I’d give up next year’s 1st to get back to get Surtain or Horn.

You would never get to 17 with just those picks...you could get maybe up to 31 or 32...but nowhere near 17.
So Surtain is out.

Yeah if you scroll up I was discussing with @stasheroo that I would have no issue using next years first to get back into the first round. I know the simulator is nuts but I was just showing its possible.
