Ok everyone.
Been considering building my first AR-15.

Any advice?

Best parts?

I own 22 handguns from small pocket pistols to 1911s .Sig,Glock,Kimber,Ruger,CZ-75,Desert Eagle,Springfield.

I do not own a single rifle at all, I had a Mosin Nagant but traded it off and an SKS but hated the damn thing. So I want to try my hand at an AR build. I may even chamber it into 7.62x39 since I already have 3000 rounds of it.

Wadda ya think?

Plenty of 7.62 uppers available and there are better places to go to get opinions of which is the "best"
Not trolling you but unless you are cutting the chamber, head spacing, or finishing out a rough lower etc....I'd hardly consider tapping take down pins to attach a complete upper with a compete lower as "building" or "chambering"......If your plan is to finish out an 80% receiver, I apologize........Again, not trying to be a jerk but there are some talented machinists, gunsmiths who would take offense lol, good luck.
