Apparently there was confusion in the reporting. Slay is apparently saying that after given permission by the Eagles to seek a trade, it was Slay's agent who reached out to Dallas.

There was a report and related thread on CowboysZone saying they did, and since the tweet had been deleted I am guessing Archer was the one that caused the confusion.

All of them are losing their minds.

There are a lot of new GMs and new faces in new places.

The usual scoop artists and spin masters will make mistakes now with things in flux.

Archer is not that connected. He is getting passed over by others on Twitter.
