The Chiefs been making serious moves to strengthen their receiving corps, and now there's buzz about a potential blockbuster trade that could bring another star receiver into the fold. The latest speculation centers on Cowboys wideout Lamb , following some recent comments from Jones.

On Thursday, Jones mentioned that he doesn't feel "any urgency" to extend Lamb's contract, which has sparked a wave of debate online. Some are wondering if Chiefs GM should take advantage of this situation and make a move for Lamb, who could be a game-changing addition to KC’s offense.

Lamb, who played alongside current Chiefs receiver Marquise Brown at the University of Oklahoma, has already proven himself as a top-tier pass-catcher in the NFL. The prospect of reuniting Lamb with Brown in Kansas City has fans and analysts buzzing, but the cost of such a trade could be steep.

One trade scenario that has been floated by FanDuel on Twitter ( hopefully this is a reputable source?) involves the Chiefs two first round picks and Rashee Rice in exchange for Lamb. It's a hefty price, but players of Lamb's caliber don't often become available on the trade market, making this a tantalizing possibility for a team looking to defend its Super Bowl title.

That deal sounds better than it really is. Both those picks won't be top 5 or top 10 picks. They won't be top 20 or top 25 picks either. They will be late late 1st rounders. I don't see why KC would be interested in making a deal like that. They signed Hollywood Brown and drafted a WR in the first last April. If they could win super bowls without those guys, why would they need them AND Lamb?

Not that i think a trade is likely, but the Chiefs have a chance for the first ever three-peat, huge incentive to go all-in this season.

True but let’s assume we are prepared to let Dak walk would one of those picks or both be enough to move up in 2025 draft to snag the QB we wanted.

And we could use our 1st round to draft a WR. Imagine in 2025 drafting a QB and WR in first round.

Interesting. The uncertainty of the draft makes that a risky move.

Unless trading CD to the Chiefs means we get Mahomes in return, then no thank you. Rashee Rice - who may be suspended - is not worth the problems that could come with him.

CD and Hollywood have the same agent.

All the social media stuff is just a negotiating play.
