In reading news from around the league, I noticed this bit of news:

It got me to wondering that since our ‘starter’ has a high ankle sprain and will likely miss some time, I’m wondering why that’s not the Cowboys he’s visiting with?

Has anyone heard any news on that front?

They will either have the legendary Matt Farniok start at LG or move Tyler Smith back to LG and start Jason Peters at LT.

You don't have to bring in anyone for a visit when you already have amazing depth.

We should have traded for Teven Jenkins when we had chance.

That USFL guy may be called up from Cowboys PS before Jerry and Stephen think to bring any worthwhile tryouts or raid another team's PS.

He hasn’t played since 2020, guessing you could poach someone better off a practice squad!

There's no reason to move Tyler Smith, who spent 3 years in college at left tackle and was fine in his first start. Peters has played guard before and can slide in there.

Farniok was the only backup listed on the depth chart for the entire interior oline. Way too thin.

I wonder how Peters would like playing G. With Tyler Smith playing well at LT, and the season over, I'd rather keep Tyler at LT as long as possible.
