I've been listening to Sirius for most of the day and ESPN this morning before I left for work. I hear a lot of talk about other QB's like how Favre showed flashes of yester year and how great Brady was. But I haven't heard any talk on Romo, the guy had a career day. Everyone is pointing to how bad our defense looked and I agree but QB play was not one of the problems.

Peter King ranked us #12 overall (4th in the NFC) in his MMQB rankings.

But I wouldn't consider him an expert.

12 seems a little low considering we did win the game...we did score 45 pts and we were ultimately missing 4 key starters

hopefully when Newman gets back and Ellis comes along we can be average defensively...with this offense thats really all we need...hold the other team to 17-20pts a week and we'll win the division

I dont know who he ranked ahead of us...but I'd put Indy, New England, San Diego, Pittsburgh and maybe Chicago & Seattle ahead of us...cant comment on the 4 teams in tonights game yet, they havent played a game...

I wonder how many people knew that Romo not only threw for a career high in passing yards, but a career high in yards per completion, and ran for his first rushing TD?

The kid was on fire, and after all the questions about which Romo we see, now everyone wants to ignore him, because they don't want to face the truth. They were wrong, and this kid is pretty damn good.

King put the Titans ahead of us, that is really all you need to know when it comes to the credibility of that idiot.

I can't wait to hear what Bill is going to say on Monday Night Countdown tonight. I hope he rips that D apart. Especially after he stuck up for Roy for 4 years. And as soon as Bill left Roy proceeds to throw Bill under the bus. I used to like Roy Williams.

IF he rated the Boys #12, then the Gints should have been about #30!

The freaking Titans are ranked above us???

What did Vince Young have, like 70 yards passing for the game???

We would hang "fiddy" on the Titans, easily.:D

don't really care if we get any "Love" from the pundits,or so called experts. I'm turning more and more to the "Embrace the Hatred" philosophy.

Anyone who submits week 1 rankings before the 4 teams finish playing tonight is an idiot.

Around the horn segment talked about how Romo has gotten over the bad snap. Colinshaw? said Romo was over the snap 2 weeks later when he was in the Pro Bowl. McMullen? said Romo was over the snap 2 days later. The other reporters said something about Dallas should be discouraged and worried about how their defense gave up so much points at home.

PTI was talking about the same thing basically, but they were talking about how Kornhieser loves him some Cowboys last year so this year he will love them and the Chicago guy was all like Dallas defense is bad.

ESPN pregame show was focusing on Giants injuries rather than Romos performance.
