After this disaster of a season, where Jerry is finally being held accountable for his awful football decisions, the smart thing would be to capitalize on the value of a high draft pick and turn that into multiple picks to address multiple holes. Especially since his inept son has convinced him (and the fan base) that they can't add free agents.


With all that being said, zero chance Jerry passes on a shiny object. If he's drafting in the top 5, he will absolutely take the big name.

SO if we could get a top five pick and Jeanty is still on the board, teams will call offering picks for him
As much as we need a stud RB, we need more good pieces that we can get this way
and remember, Big and Little Enos are not going to spend in FA so this is the only way we can get the most players

Yes, I hope they end up at 1 and trade down. Might even trade down twice. There are a lot of options and a lot of players I Iike. There are a lot of different trade options that could happen.

It would be awesome to be in the 1 spot and trade down and get a high 2nd rounder in the deal . We would then have pick 33 and another high 2nd rounder to go with our 1st round pick we get in the trade and would have the top pick in the 3rd round and whatever else we got in the trade.

I believe that is what we NEED to do. This team needs a lot of pieces and one or two is not going to make a huge difference.

It's good that the draft is strong at dtackle, edge, and runningback.

The Cowboys shouldn't trade down once they should trade down twice.

If they play the draft right, they can still have a top 10-12 pick and load up day 2 with 4 picks.

Bottom line is they need all the day 2 picks they can get. But don't trade away future picks!

I'd like them to start at the 1 or 2 spot and trade down to the 6 to 9 spot or trade down to the 9 to 10 spot and get a package of picks that includes a 1st rounder for next year.
