Looks like they will be forced to play him a lot more now with possibility of Schultz missing a few games. I have always been high on this kid since they drafted him. He will get his chance now, but I agree, he already is a solid blocker. I feel he will be a great receiver too. Excited to see him connect with Rush.

Only one time did I call out 86's number in my head during the game, and it wasn't for a good play. It was a horrible block that directly cost us negative yardage on a run play.

We're running more with Rush starting, and Schultz is a big liability there. Run blocking is a weakest-link game... if one guy fails his assignment, your play is in trouble. Schultz is a weak link on a lot of run plays.

Ferguson doesn't have to mug linebackers like Tyler Higbee or anything... he just needs to get his hat on the right dude and hold his ground for 2 seconds. If he's assignment sound, this offense will improve more than you might think.
