Luepke is going to surprise people. Kid can do it all. If he makes the team he will he will be fun to watch.
Is he fully recovered from his injury now?

And.

He's actually more tailback than fullback as far as I've seen... are people assuming he can be a fullback, or does he have some actual experience there?

I have been calling for him for a while now. I think if used properly he can be another weapon for Dallas.

Yep. I'm surprised he didn't get drafted.
There just aren't many teams who use a fullback outside of Baltimore and San Fran, but Big Mike had John Kuhn in Green Bay and used him.

Nice to see the Cowboys snag him after the draft.

I just wish Dallas were more creative with the FB spot beyond run blocking.
It’s really a matter of who’s hands you want to put the ball in
RB’s, WR’s and TE generally are better playmakers
If FB makes the roster he really has to do it all including ST
It’s not just the cowboys, there’s a reason he went undrafted. The position is just not coveted anymore

If he earns the right to wear #44 with Dallas he better uphold the standard of Robert Newhouse. Same goes for #48 (Mooooooose).

I was looking up FB during the draft process because MM likes them and I recall this guy being pretty good. Maybe he can be the hammer.

Schoonmaker can play the F. There is a lot of snaps where he led from the F or pulled inside on a wham from the Y. Dude dug LB out of the hole.

We need a power back.
