Mark Thompson, RB

Thompson, RB for the Houston Gamblers, broke records this season by putting up 14 touchdowns playing just eight of 10 games this season. He was second in rushing yards and proved to be a traditional three-down back capable of breaking off long run and converting short yardage situations.

Kyahva Tezino, LB

Tezino was a stout run-stopper out of San Diego State. At 6-foot, 235 he wasn’t the biggest LB prospect and played a journeyman role since leaving school.

Now at age 26, he doesn’t come with the same developmental ceiling as many, but he was a leader and well-rounded star in the USFL who has solid special teams ability.

Matt Coghlin, K

While Luis Aguilar garners most of the attention (and has attempted the most kicks), it’s Coghlin who led the USFL in field goal percentage and extra point percentage. After hitting 18 of 19 FG attempts and going 25 of 25 extra point attempts, Coghlin is a steady force at kicker.

Jerry is not the one we need to worry it’s Stephen and McClay..:as long as they know.

Alex McGough - MVP - Bring him in to challenge both Grier and Rush. Don't just go the usual Jonesboys way of creating "made men" who never have to worry about their position once they have it. Make Grier and Rush fight for the backup jobs.

Imo, McGough would be silly to sign with any team where he's not the odds-on favorite walking in the door to win the back-up job somewhere... DAL probably not on his list to begin with.

Him, and/or Brandon Aubrey (aka "Aubrey-matic" :p ), and/or Nick Sciba should be getting training camp invites. Both only missed one FG and one XP all season.

Sciba hit from 56 this season, Coghlin from 55. Aubrey had only one 50+ FGA this season and missed it, but if you visit YouTube, you can see he has enough leg.

Sciba might be the odds-on favorite by a nose. He wasn't able to beat out Steelers K Chris Boswell last preseason, but was signed for an emergency one-week stint mid-season, and was perfect in 1 FG (38 yds) and 2 XP attempts.

Coghlin was signed in 2022 for a rookie camp tryout with the Bears, but after 3 days, was let go.

Aubrey hasn't gotten a taste of the NFL yet, but he wasn't even on anyone's radar until this and last season in the USFL because he was a star soccer player at Notre Dame. He was drafted by Toronto, but ultimately decided he wanted to give kicking in real ;) football a shot.

One footnote as long as we're talking kickers... Rams just cut the 2022 Groza Award winner from NC State a couple of weeks ago, Christopher Dunn, who they'd signed as a UDFA.

He would jump at the chance to compete here.

Of course he would. All things being equal.

But all things are not equal.

Assuming he's more interested in a viable shot at making the most of his MVP brag line and converting that into a #2 slot in the NFL, reason suggests there are much better places to sign with... https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...e-no-2s-while-panthers-ravens-crack-top-five/

And if your comeback is, "He'll sign wherever they offer him the most money," my comeback is that (a) there's not likely to be a great divide between what any given team would offer, but that said, (b) one of the last teams that is going to throw more money at the QB slot is our Cowboys.

This isn't a team even looking to replace its #3 guy, for that matter, let alone its #2.

K= USFL Aubrey's the guy, apparently as good or better then earning all-USFL honors in 2022 and helping lead the Stallions to a USFL title in 2023. This past season, Aubrey converted on 14 of 15 field goals and all 35 PATs.

I'm glad we signed him. I saw him twice actually. I saw him at my first USFL game in early May and this last weekend in the championship game live. He's got a solid accurate leg b

Where is Steve Hoffman when you need him?

He invited Aubrey, but told him he wanted to give him his pitch. Aubrey felt he needed a job more than a soccer field so he chose us instead.

How do you know that none were invited.....is there a? link on that?
You didn't say any? You said all. Do you have a link with the all and why would they keep it a secret?

Can you show me where “all“ weren’t invited ?

do you understand what hyperbole is and the use of it when describing the inactions of our FO?

If you think that Howie Roseman is any where in the same league as Jerry Jones you are in Fantasyland and surely in a tiny minority here.

and before you ask me to prove that you are literally in Fantasyland, look up the definition of hyperbole and switch to the decaf.
