My answer is Yes for both. Jerry is the BEST salesman in NFL history. The NFL is the richest it has ever been and the NFL has Jerry Jones to thank for it
Not saying Jerry is the only source but he is definitely the largest portion of why the NFL is at record profits. Having games overseas and expanding the season

And not just Dallas Cowboy fans but ALL NFL fans, they/we keep buying what the NFL keeps selling. The National Football Leagues continues to walk on water
and fans love the biblical magic. Especially, the Dallas Cowboys has not even seen a NFC Conference game in THIRTY (30) years and still the Dallas Cowboys
(aka: Jerry Jones' toy) still remains the RICHEST Sports Franchise in ALL of sports. Each season, Dallas fans buys the FOOLS GOLD Jerry sells to his K-Mart Shoppers.
After each season, for thirty years, Dallas fans find excuses for the continued lack of success.
Not saying winning a Superbowl, but can't even JUST GET TO A NFC CONFERENCE GAME.

I know everyone is moaning and complaining now, but I suspect if Jerry makes one free agent acquisition, even for a mid player, some fans will fall back in line, the line of hope. Then the draft will come and the post draft hype will convince most of the rest to fall in line too.

I am going to wait and see how we improve between this year and next. I am not falling for the banana in the tailpipe from Jerry again.

That crowd that will come crawling back is very real...if they ever actually fell out of line to begin with. That said though I think fan apathy towards the Jones family is very real going back to last offseason and into training camp as attendance numbers were down.

There are so many Dallas fans out there who will always continue to follow faithfully and buy whatever Jerry is selling. I would bet that we(here) represent less than 1% of the fans out there. We are just vocal about it and know more about the team than the casual fans. I can’t tell yall how many “Dallas” fans I run into that can’t name more than three players on the team in any given year.

So, yes…….there will always be plenty of sheep out there that will continue to line his pockets and worship his every word.

I haven't bought anything Jerry is selling for at least 10 years. I'm not a lemming.
There will be a seventh Lombardi in the trophy case before I buy what Jerry or Stephen is selling.

If this Cowboys' management keeps being lazy with their pursuits of winning, stadium attendance is bound to suffer, eventually. One is bound to wonder how long they'll be able to coast as they have for the last three decades. How far must this team sink before that happens? Who knows?

At some point, attendance might well suffer alarmingly. As a very disgusted fan, I can hardly wait for that to come about. Eventually, this FO will be obliged to save their hides and return to winning ways. When that might come about is anyone's guess. I just hope it's not another three decades. Suffice it to say, many of us will be "pushing up daisies" by then. I'd really like to avoid being the first!

Excuses? Lol...none needed. Make them if you want, my reality is that, it's very tough to win a championship....at anything and at any level. I appreciate that....I also appreciate being a fan. I don't have to be, but I am....I don't make excuses...Jerry owns the Cowboys, I'm a fan because I want to be, he's not forcing me....or anyone else. If you're still a fan, you're supporting the team, Jerry's team. If you want the team to lose, because you don't like Jerry, you're not a fan. It's not that that hard to understand.

No apology is necessary -- he surely knows how much you like the Cowboys. Maybe he'll even follow your lead.

On the other hand, my adult son can't stand the idea that I'm still following them, each and every game. I understand it.

He was something of a fan in the past, although, when the FO failed to call Derrick Henry, that was just about it for him.
