i switched to a Mac about six months ago and i'm loving it. now i need to figure out how to get Creative Suite or Photoshop so i can play around.

WITHOUT paying $900 ******** dollars.

i've got a friends disks that he used to install CS on his powerbook, but i dont have the registration #'s, so they're not helping me much. i've heard, however, that you can use generic codes found online. if so, does anyone have a link?

what about the the photoshop elements? the $99 software package? what does this get you?

any suggestions, links, free software, is welcome!:)
