7 touchbacks, and 6 of 7 in his place kicks.

Not perfect, but not a terrible start to his career in Dallas. Corrections successfully made after 1st miss.
It does make me feel better than he missed the first kick and then hit six straight. That tells me he settled in. We'll see if he can keep that going now that he got his first game out of the way.

I am loving the automatic touchbacks. Why give them a chance?

Also he looked very smooth and effortless on the kicks. A few dead center.

Can’t underestimate the conditions or hold on the first one. Plus, looked like some penetration that caught the corner of his eye probably.

Nice bounce back.

Given our defense, barring special situations our opponents should start every drive on the 25.

Seems like that is well within his capabilities.

I don't really disagree with the overall premise

But lumping XPs in with field goals is a funny way to look at it.

Missed his first kick and I was livid. But didn’t get in his head and he pulled it together. It looked like he missed another one. Lol. Don’t know how he eeked that one in.

Hey.. it's baby steps after that Money Maher collapse. One thing at a time.

BTW, Maher made all his XPs, but missed half his FGs. Go figure.
Who is he playing for I thought he was on the practice squad??

Extra points are 33 yards. What's real funny is some people don't even know this.
What's real funny is you think this makes you smart. I know this, everyone knows this. It's just funny to lump them all together.

Field goals are worth three points, and extra points are only worth one. What's real funny is some people don't even know this.

The missed FGs were both 50+ yards out, and one was blocked. As long as Aubrey keeps drilling em right down the middle it's a total non discussion from a Cowboy standpoint, but Maher might end up being a steal for LA.
