Audio: Javier Arenas on Sirus NFL Radio

Some people are still on board with the idea that Patrick Crayton is a good enough punt returner because of his two TD's last season.

Not me. I think those TD's were all about the blocking. Crayton still isn't scaring anyone on punt returns.

But if the Cowboys could find a way to draft Javier Arenas in the 3rd round we would have a very solid 4th CB and a great kick/punt returner for years to come...

Javier Arenas on Sirius NFL Radio

He's a tough kid who is not afraid of contact. And you can bet your *** that Nick Saban has him ready for the NFL.

Charles Davis has some thoughts on him...

Here's his highlights as a returner...

I agree

I can't stand Alabama, but Arenas is tough and is a winner. He's smart and always in position to make plays. We should think about taking him in the 2nd.

Can you say pet cat? Man I love this kid. As good as he is as a return specialist, he's underrated as a corner. Perfect 3rd or 4th round pick to add depth to the secondary, and have a full time kick off and punt return specialist.

Yup. he'll prolly get picked in the 2nd round, he won't last until the 3rd.

[JBell]

That statline is insane for a corner.

71 tackles, 12 for loss, 5 sacks, 5 INT's....I thought it was a typo and those were his career stats.

[Manwiththeplan]

Yeah, if he's there in rd 3, and we don't take him, I'll be pissed
