I thought he played OLB for Jacksonville and then we moved him inside. I was just wondering if you guys think we could move him to OLB and put Carpenter back in the middle? Maybe he could do a better job at getting pressure on the QB....just a thought

As a new member here, I have no way of proving this by bringing up a post from the past, but I actually thought that Ayodele would be a great and realitively cheap aquisition for someone.

I thought, and still think, he's on the verge of breaking out and becoming a top 5 OLB in this league.

However, I never thought he'd come here nor did I predict it because we play a 3-4, but if indeed we go back to a 4-3 and he starts at OLB, I expect some very good things out of him.

Look at the 2nd half of the season, after Ware, Ayodele has been our best defensive player, he has really come on in the 2nd half.

I really like Ayodele alot, and I only expect him to improve, especially if we start going with some 4-3 looks from here on out.

I agree. Ayodele has played very well. Especially when you consider he came from a 4-3 to play in our 3-4. He's one of my favorites on D. All this "switch back to the 4-3" talk has me wondering of we would be better served giving that a shot next year.

Carpenter is slowly becoming another favorite of mine. He's not getting blown up and has been playing pretty solid in his rookie campaign. This guy just might make all of us happy as early as next year with a nice offseason workout regimen under his belt. I'm really anxious to see how he improves going into next season.

i think if dallas goes back to a 4-3, akin goes to the strong side.
