Art Briles' staff has been raided with three Baylor assistants becoming head coaches, the most high profile stands to be the possibility of Baylor Associate Head Coach Brian Norwood (formerly a secondary coach under disgraced Joe Paterno at PSU from 2001 to 2007).

Several news outlets including ESPN Dallas have confirmed PSU's great interest in Norwood, Baylor plays one last game December. 29th at the Alamo Bowl versus Washington, possibly Norwood's last with the #12 BCS Baylor Bears, who have undergone a resurgent season that saw them led by Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Robert Griffin III to their best record in 19 seasons.

Well that is the good and bad of fielding a good team and having a good season.

You are happy that your team does well, but then other teams see the success and want to hire some of the coaches away.

Another way of looking at it is that if coaches feel by going to Baylor they too could advance themselves is a good way of Baylor being able to hire other quality coaches. So yes you lose some good assistance but you also become a bit more desirable in terms of hiring good coaches

If I am PSU, I want no one associated with Sandusky and Paterno in any way to be a member of my new coaching staff. I would completely burn bridges and start over. It will be tough, but the ugliness of what they are currently dealing with needs to be completely removed from the athletic complex.
