Just spent a week over at Bear Lake Utah/Idaho (it goes over the state line). Had an amazing time. Spent time at the lake, did some amateur hiking in the nearby Cache National Forest, and did plenty of exploring. Took some photos with my drone that I thought I would share. While I did adjust some values of the pictures, I did not fabricate any of the colors. The lake really is that blue. They call it the "Caribbean of the Rockies". From what I have read it is due to the lakes shallow depth (208 ft at it's deepest point) and the refraction of light on the limestone deposits that are in the lake.
