It's not the same scenario, but it was the same lack of awareness shown by Meatball Mike. What did Mike plan on doing with those two timeouts and 4 seconds left that he couldn't use one to avoid a delay of game?

The biggest difference is in what it cost the teams. The situational awareness was the same. It's akin to two people driving drunk, one gets home safely, the other gets into an accident. Both decisions to drive were equally stupid.
