All week I gave the boys no chance, and they gladly proven me wrong, but this was just another long list of games where as soon as you count them out and expectations are minimal they respond in a big way. It seems as though thankfully most fans, media are all on SF, and that based in history might be a blessing in disguise

It says a lot more about the fans than it does about the team.

When they win, people start thinking they're the greatest team ever. Then they lose a game, and it's "oh, they started believing their press clippings."
When they lose, people think they're the worst team ever. Then they win, and it's, "oh, they rose to the occasion when everyone counted them out."

They're just a team out there winning some and losing some. The wild swings are in the fans' heads.
