Our limited success in the past was built upon a smash-face & ball-controlling running game. Graduately we are deviating away from that.
It is proven over and over that this QB cannot carry the team when the defense cannot, and tonight's game should be the last straw.

This OL is probably 1-piece away from being elite, adding a good running back might be able to turn things around quickly.

How many teams with an elite offensive line win the superbowl?
Not saying you can get by with trash offensive lines, but you shouldn't need a 5 piece All-pro line to go far.
Off the top of my head the 49ers have Trent Williams. They lost their RT to the Broncos. I just watched the game but have no clue who their guards/center was. Yet, they stifled this defense.

Eagles have Lane Johnson and Kelce as their stalwarts. Who is their LT/LG/RG?
Kansas City lost to the Bucs a few years ago in the SB not because their starters sucked but because they lost both tackles to injury.

The 2014/16 teams had a great offensive line. But they didn't do much in the playoffs. Not like they steamrolled the opposing defenses into submission. With a team that only build through the draft/UDFA, they got an elite offensive line with no defensive talent which proved to be their achillis heel vs the Packers.

The line we saw tonight has a very good LT, great C and RG.
Steele struggled at times vs Bosa and Biadasz got injured.
Even with all that, it didn't matter vs the 49ers.

What I am saying is that solving the running game might turn the season over, but not necessarily winning SB.
The Texas Coast Offense does not work, so something else, especially something we were good at should be applied.
Every good QB needs a running game, especially with this average-at-best QB. If he is benched, we have backups who need to rely more on the running game.
Football is all about momentum. If we can control the ball more at least we aren't getting blown out so early, and give the defense some breath, then fresher legs might create some opportunities.

I agree. We need another RB. And, unfortunately, I don't think Vaughn is a fit here in the Texas Toast offense.

This team is as fake as a Brittney Spears lip injection.

I can’t believe the OL excuses. They played fine today and fine vs Arizona. You guys need to watch OL play around the league.

Using the words Dallas and Super Bowl together in any sentence makes me nauseous.

Tyler Biadasz and Ceedee Lamb. 2 most overrated players on the team.
