The WRs flew off the board last night. All of the prospects with plus starter grades are gone. With the Cowboys losing three and only adding one there is a good chance they'll look to restock early. Here is a list of the best available going into day two. The Cowboys board is probably differnet.

DE is a higher priority to me than WR. I don’t think it’s a good team building strategy to take what essentially is a #3 WR behind Lamb and Gallup in the 2nd round. Beasley was a UDFA and manned that spot for years. Heck, our previous #2 WR’s in Gallup and Williams were drafted in 3 and everyone agrees this a deep WR draft. I’d address the WR position with numbers in 3 and 5 or perhaps just 3.

I wouldn't mind Shakir later on.

I think they feel the opposite, can live with a Armstrong/Fowler, but not Washington as the team's #3 receiver. They will address edge, but I think receiver might be a bigger priority for them.

With so many receivers off the board, you would think 1 will be there at 56.

I wouldn't mind Shakir but Tolbert and Watson would be nice too.

just as much as WRs were swept up in the first round- i really think it's gonna just as much a big run on WRs in the 2nd round.
Tough to get that particular, valued WR at bottom of 2nd rd.

Yeah I agree with above. I'd be looking pass rusher before WR. Think we can get a guy like Bell or Tolbert later, but the DEs will be gone after early Rd 3

i think Shakir would also bring punt return value - a huge need for our special teams.

I think Shakir in the 3rd would be a slam dunk.
Should be able to contribute right away, punt return ability, high character guy.
Keep this in mind, our current WR coach was the OC at.....Boise State!!

I see good value in the WR’s still on the board and the need is there after trading Coop. It would be nice to have someone who is a real deep threat like a Watson or Pierce. I think we can get a TE in round 4 or 5 who has similar potential to the options that will be there for us at 56.

I also really would like to see us take an impact LB at some point today so that we can play Parsons at DE. No need to take a character risk on Sam Williams when you have a guy already performing at his ceiling. Maybe a guy like Anderson or Chenal will still be there for us at 88.

If that’s the case it’s really dumb. We typically take 2nd WR’s in 3 and #3 WR’s off the garbage heep. Beasley, Cobb…we were dead right on Amendola and let him get away. Take DE in 2, Shakir in 3, and can take another one like Gray or Philips later. You can find WR’s all throughout the draft. Not the same at DE.

Shakir would be nice. Love Pickens.

Kyle Phillips later.

John Metchie III would be my pick if going WR in the second round. This kid was the next best thing from Bama after Smith, Jeudy, Waddle and Ruggs. Injured late in the season last year and now Metchie is rarely talked about as a result.

Second would be Pickens from UGA but has red flags from a maturity stand point. Feel like we needs to be around a Vet inthe WR room to show him the ropes on how life inthe NFL will be.

I like a few guys we could get later on--Wandale, Doubs, Bell, Pierce

Really want Leo Chenal AND Troy Andersen.

Their additions would allow maximum flexibility in how Parsons is used.

But if had to pick just one, it would be 6'2 260 4.5 Leo Chenal. Chenal would be a huge solution in shoring up the run stopping issues. And does not duplicate what Cox already does well either.

I think it will be the next position we'll address, but if we could get Shakir, Robinson or Pierce in the third, I'd be OK with taking a DL or LB in the second, especially if Travis Jones falls to us. I'd be very tempted to take Ojabo based on his potential if he falls to us, but I'm hesitant because of all the other injured second-rounders we've wasted picks on.

Another WR option is waiting until after draft and trading Gallup + future picks for either Deebo Samuel or Kardarius Toney.

Or 3 team trade sending Toney to SF and Gallup + future 3rd to NYG with Deebo going to Dallas.
