been rehashed on here a lot of course, but I still think we should move Tyler to LG at some point for Peters and definitely for Tyron if he ever comes back this year

And this doesn't in any way whatsoever thwart Tyler's long term progress as a LT

Good info for sure. Helman's statement sums it up in that the staff does what they think is best.
I don't have the confidence in Philbin, Moore and McCarthy truly knowing how to tie in the best 5 along with the blocking sceme and philosophy of a downhill running plan.

I am bewildered at the disappearance of that first 6 to 7 games of ground dominance from a year ago.

Almost like it was a fluke.

Would love a Shanahan type OC to optimize the existing OL talent towards the proper run game principles they're capable of.

Still cant admit you were dead wrong on that? Stubborn.

It's his opinion. Opinions are never right nor wrong.

Those that wanted Pitts over Parsons? Was that opinion right or wrong?

Those that thought Parsons couldnt rush the passer? Was that opinion right or wrong?

Those that thought Garrett was a great coach? Right or wrong?

Those that thought Dak was backup material? Right or wrong?

Those that thought Zeke would have a bounce back year? Right or wrong?

They were all dead wrong!!

I’m not. In my opinion, your opinion is silly. But that’s why they call them opinions. You are allowed to have the wrong one…which you seem to very often do

Peters is not even playing OG over Connor McGovern...

Maybe we should wait until Peters can play an entire game...

And don!t even waste time pondering Tyron...The probability of him starting another game is very low until proven otherwise.

That they don't move him to LG tells me they don't expect Tyron back. Ever.

An important thing to note here: That is Duke Manyweather, one of the most sought after (and probably the most) OL trainers in football. Tyler trained with him this year before OTA's

I think too much stock is put into offensive line play.

Having receivers that get open quickly matter nearly just as much

I'd move Tyler Smith inside when Tyron gets back..and it's for a few reasons

1.) Tyler Smith is completely logical. He won't take it personal an would openly admit he's not on Tyron Smith's level. He also know he will have the reigns next year.
2.) You get better at two positions, and potentially elite at both.
3.) The Other LG's essentially give you the only weak spot on your line. In a Weak NFC the only teams that pose a threat have good interior D line

You dont hold a candle to me small fry. Feel free to name anything I have gotten wrong. Either put up or shut up little man.

Learn football and come on back to the table

So far Tyler has been good enough to be left at Tackle. Peters can play guard so McGovern can be a FB, TE, extra linemen whatever they need.

Don't think Dallas should count on Tyron being back this season. If he does, that is just a bonus...but to be counting on it would be overly optimistic and primed for a let down. They do need to hope no more major injuries to the OL, or they will be rolling in the deep. Not much backups to speak of other than PS talent. Ball a big disappointment.

LOL. Peters can't even get regular snaps in the offense and you want to move him in to start at LT?
